On Wednesday, 4th May we held the first in a series of professional development workshops for makers, creatives, artists and freelancers.

30 busy creatives assembled in the glorious Clifton School of Arts looking out to sea, to spend a day talking business tools, pricing, shifting your head from art to business, product branding, photography and packaging, legal stuff and more. Drawing upon the knowledge and experience from the Illawarra, all the speakers and presenters were local artists and creatives running successful ventures.

With incredible food by The Vege Box, champagne, and vibrant facilitation by the incomparable Lilli Pang, it was a fantastic day of inspiring creative discussion, connection and dancing (yes dancing!)

Here’s what some attendees had to say:

Great facilitation and so inspiring! The whole day was beautiful”

Loved having so many knowledgeable, high quality speakers in the one spot. It was also great knowing I’m not alone in the process of building a creative business”

“What a wonderful day in a group of creatives. A beautiful concept and I look forward to what’s to come! Thank you”

Keep your eyes peeled for more THRIVE SESSIONS coming soon!
