About the Class
Join permaculture educator and gardener Narelle Happ from A Garden for Life for this introduction on raising seedlings for an abundant edible garden. Seedsaving, sprouting and raising is easy with the right know-how and a few tools, and a great way to keep the cycle of your garden turning over each season.
Learn how to make a seedling raising soil mix from compost and soil, and the class includes thorough handouts about what you need for your seedlings to grow, grow, grow! Growing plants from seeds is also a great project to do with kids.
Narelle Happ is a garden designer and horticulturalist who specialises in native garden and permaculture design.
She has over a decade of experience and is passionate about creating ‘living’ spaces which are nurturing, productive and sustainable.
Garden styles range from natural bushland, rainforest, cottage or formal. Permaculture designs include garden layouts for food production and sustainability. Designs that extend to engage and educate communities and schools by creating kitchen gardens and living classrooms.
