40.00 The Rumpus Room, Wollongong Central (next to Dymocks) 1-3pm, 18th December 2016
About the Class
Marbling is a fun, decorative paint finish that can be applied to a range of materials for a really beautiful, dreamy effect.
You’ll create droplets of paint that merge in the marbling bath just like oil mixing in puddles on a rainy day.
You’ll be mixing colours together to create even more colours and exploring different marbling techniques. We’ll be using brushes, skewers, pipettes and combs to create your own unique prints plus gift tags and wrapping paper that you can take home with you.
Take home your own set of marbled paper and an eco calico bag.
Perfect for making handmade wrapping paper and Christmas gifts! Suitable for ages 10-100.
*This class is part of our Pass It On Project, supported by the IRT Foundation, where we recruit skilled Seniors to share their skills.
