About the Class
Everyone knows cling wrap stinks right? Single use plastic that just becomes landfill. Wax coated fabric is a way to keep food covered, fresh and the great think is you can reuse it over and over!
Join Elise and learn this process with amazing Babbarra printed fabrics from the Northern Territory, and using beeswax and natural tree resin. You will make and take home your own set of 4 wraps, plus have the know-how to make more at home!
WHAT TO BRING: A flat oven tray (no griddle trays)
Elise finds no greater joy than making beautiful things with her hands. And, if she can’t wear bold prints every day of the week she at least needs to see them in her home – including in the fridge! Elise is studying a masters of art therapy and has a background in community work and early childhood education.
This DIY skill was passed onto her from master maker Zana Wright, who also happens to grow and grind delightful spices. www.spicez.com.au
Elise has recently relocated from the NT and be providing some beautiful screen printed fabrics for the workshop from skilled artists at Babbarra in Arnhem Land.
