About the Class
Macrame is having a ‘moment’ and the fibre art movement is growing in interest and audience, yet it is a tradition that has been around for decades. Fibre art makes a beautiful, natural decorative feature to any living space.
Join Sue from Yarn Hub straight from her teaching stint at Sturt Craft Centre and learn the art of macrame. Learn to make a macrame hanging and choose from neutrals or colour in beautiful cotton rope. Use simple basic knots or learn some new knots to add texture. Sawn branches provided or bring your own driftwood!
Sue specialises in using fine quality wools and yarns and recommends using good quality for a long lasting hanging. She will have extra yarn available to purchase at the class.
