About the Class
Chooks are a great asset to any backyard. They create rich, beautiful soil, can keep garden pests under control, and gift you delicious, fresh eggs! Keeping chooks isn’t difficult but you do need to know the basics to care for them and keep them happy. Join Jacqui in her backyard to take you through all you need to know to get started!

Jacqui is one of the founders of Permablitz the Gong, bringing people together to blitz each others’ gardens one backyard at a time. Jacqui also works at Green Connect, a fantastic waste management social enterprise in Port Kembla, and plays in a very cool rock band.
