About the Class
In this 2 hour morning class – Bees are early risers! Participants will be introduced to the world of beekeeping.
We will go through the life cycle of a bee and learn a bunch of really interesting bee facts! Also how to assess a site, setup a beehive and know the names of components. We will discuss different beekeeping methods and hive types, including the langstroth, warre and flow hives. We’ll also be tasting plenty of honey!
No prior knowledge is needed, and there will be plenty of Q&A time.

Andrea has been a hobby beekeeper for 8 years both in Australia and Italy. She is a registered beekeeper and offers beekeeping services as well as selling honey locally. Her favourite facts are bee facts!
