About the Class
Herbs are one of the easiest group of plants to grow so come along and learn how to grow and use them! They can be used in cooking, teas, as well as for fragrance and healing.
Join expert garden facilitator Kathy Finigan from My Productive Backyard in the lovely Kiama Community Garden for an intro workshop into growing and using herbs. Beginners to experts welcome!
Please note the Kiama Community Garden is adjacent to Blue Haven Village,
Parking is in the Sports Complex car park.
Access the garden by entering the gate to the soccer fields and walking left along the fenceline.
Kathy is the owner behind My Productive Backyard, a horticultural consultancy service dedicated to helping and inspiring people and organisations to learn, practice and pass on the skills necessary to produce healthy nutritious organic food in a sustainable way. She is a highly qualified horticulturalist with 30 year’s experience in teaching and community engagement program design, development and delivery through TAFE NSW and independent community programs.
